About me
I'm a developer with a hands on approach to learning. I understand things best by building them myself, breaking systems down, experimenting, and trying until it works. While I enjoy working across full stack, I have a stronger appreciation for backend development and the systems that support reliable scalable software.
My path into computer science has been shaped by both technical curiosity and real world responsibility. Since a child, I was modding games, creating servers, jailbreaking devices. Throughout college, I balanced course work with experience in fast paced, high accountability environments, including logistics roles. These experiences taught me much, for example; discipline, time management, and how to stay calm and effective under pressure. Skills that directly translate into how I approach development today.
At Georgia State University I majored in Computer Science, served as VP of the Computer Science Club, where I helped organize events, collaborate with peers, and support a growing technical community. I served as Head of Marketing for the StartUp GSU Fund Club, creating outreach and connecting to the community, as well as judging and awarding financial grants to student created business'. I volunteered at GirlsWhoCode Hackathons, played with Tabletop clubs, attended ACM and GSU Programming clubs and more.
I'm driven by curiosity, problem solving, and the feeling when I create something real and usable. Whether I'm building a game mechanic, backend system, or custom hardware - I care about understanding how and why things work, not just what they do.
